Apple Tempts You Even More

As if we all didn’t want an iPad bad enough, Apple rolled out 11 guided tour videos this morning to tempt us all a little more.
Apple has always had the best marketing in the world and their efforts with the iPad are no exception.

I realize this will eventually be a great piece of technology. Right now I feel like the only underwhelmed guy in the room. The iPad seems like an oversized iPhone with less functionality.
As I said, I’m sure that will change in the future, but why all the hype for the one coming out on 04/03/2010?
Bob, I wasn’t sold on it initially either but now I’m convinced this thing is going to explode. First, you can’t compete with the Apple marketing machine. Second, the number of apps for the device is going to grow exponentially. Third, I think there’s a market for it. Just look at all the netbooks and Kindles sold. I think the iPad competes nicely with all those. It will be interesting to see where all the chips fall in a couple of months. My gut tells me, however, that Apple has another hit on their hands.

Like the Mac’s themselves it is awesome technology but I cannot justify the coin.
