Add Some Flavor to Your Brand

By on April 1, 2010

There are a lot of options out there if you want to create an “online presence” for yourself but Flavors.me beats the competition hands down when it comes to easy of use and style.

This site is drop-dead easy to use but it generates some of the best looking personal brand sites you’ve ever seen.  I was able to create a site that looked amazing in under two minutes.

As their front page says, Flavors.me “allows anyone to create an elegant website using content from around the Internet.”  That’s what makes this thing so cool.  You just start adding your content from around the web (you know your tweets, your youtube videos, your picasa photos, your blog, or any RSS feed) and you site starts have some great content.  Then, you start picking styles, fonts, colors, in such an easy way that it’s almost addictive, and the next thing you know you’re done.

Basically, this is called lifestreaming.  That’s were you pull together all the various things you do online into one centralized place.  Lifestreaming has been around for a while but it’s never been this easy or looked this good.  This is lifestreaming for the masses.

I could also envision pastors and churches using this service for quick splash or microsites.  The ability to take one great photo and make it the entire background really makes this site usable on so many levels.

The service is free with your domain being flavors.me/username.  If you upgrade, you can get a custom domain name (think you.com).  You also get real-time stats and a contact form with the upgrade.

So, seriously, is it time to add some flavor to the most important brand you own…you?

You can check it out at Flavors.me.
