All You Need is $75,000

According to an new study sited on the Wall Street Journal, the magic number for happiness is $75,000.  More accurately, that’s the peak of happiness.  After that, happiness doesn’t increase any more.

Here’s a quote…

The magic income: $75,000 a year. As people earn more money, their day-to-day happiness rises. Until you hit $75,000. After that, it is just more stuff, with no gain in happiness.

The entire article is brief but a great read.  I’m sure that it could be used as sermon fodder especially if you’re talking about finances.
