Get Some Whiteboard Coolness with Kludd

2 Comments 01 December 2011

If you need a whiteboard solution that isn’t quite so boring then might we suggest you get a few kludds for your conference room.

Every meeting room typically needs some sort of whiteboard solution.  Standard whiteboards have as much personality as an empty styrofoam cup and produce a stale creative environment.  IKEA has a solution, however, that works well without looking too corporate.  In fact, the Kludd from IKEA hardly looks like a whiteboard at all.

Three or four of these glass panels placed in an array look quite stylish while still giving you the writing space you need.  Heck, you could even do three panels over three panels.  Or four over four. Or…well, you get the idea.  You can order them from IKEA for $19.99 each here.

Of course, if you need more space and you’re willing to dedicate an entire wall to the cause you might also want to try idea paint.  It’s a wall treatment that turns your entire wall into one gigantic whiteboard.

You can order enough of this magical paint to cover 50 square feet for $199.50 here.

We use galvanized sheet metal for dry erase boards. Bit more of an industrial look. You can get it in 4′x10′ sheets for around $40.
