Get Endless Power for Your Kindle

0 Comments 09 January 2012

The SolarKindle Lighted Cover, a new case for the Kindle, has been just been released and it looks great.

The Kindle Fire is a different beast but most Kindles are known for having an amazing battery life due to the use of e-ink technology but now, with this new case, you’ll never have to worry about power for your Kindle ever again.

The case itself has a pretty basic design.  It’s got a solar panel on the front that charges a backup battery.  When the Kindle is placed in the case the backup battery charges the Kindle’s internal battery.

Beyond that, this case offers a LED reading light too!

The maker claims that the case will provide almost three days of use time for each hour of charging.  You can’t ask for more than that.

The case sells for $79 which is reasonable considering all that’s included and the average cost of plain Kindle cases.

You can get all the details and place an order here.
