The Perfect iPhone Dock

3 Comments 03 January 2012

The harsh reality is that most iPhone docks are just horrible.

They’re typically flimsy and slide all over the place when you’re trying to insert or remove your phone.  And, don’t even get me started about having to remove the iPhone case to use them or how loosely they fit the iPhone so you’re always worried about breaking the connector pins or, more importantly, your phone.

That’s why I was so pleased to see this new product on kickstarter.  Check out this impressive video.

The Elevation Dock truly looks like a dream come true.  Finally someone invested some really time and thought into what an iPhone dock should really look like.

I love everything about this even down to the finish.  It just looks right.

As the video suggests, it would look great on either a desk or a nightstand.

The finished product will cost around $90 but if you pledge $59 now you’ll get one when they first come off the assembly line.

That might sound like a lot for a dock but in this case it’s clear that you get what you pay for.

You can check out all the kickstarter details here.

Very cool.  Thanks for sharing.  Maybe they will make one for the iPad next.
