Give Your Dog Some USB Love
Here’s the deal, we’re big dog lovers here at PG and we can’t stand the thought of any of you guys being permanently separated from your dogs. (We even think cat lovers should be able to keep their cats…off the streets.) Now, we know most pet owners put some sort of id tag on their furry friends. We also know that some folks even have chips embedded under the skin of their pets but the new Flexi PC Pet ID Tag sounds like a better solution to us. Why?
Well, first, it’s not so “mark of the beast-ish” and it doesn’t involve puncturing your pet. (Pet puncturing is almost always a bad idea unless it’s a cat, of course.)
Second, it’s easy to update if you move or change phone numbers. Also, anyone who finds your pet that owns a computer can read the drive so they don’t have to have one of those Mark of Beast Read-O-Matics laying around to help reconnect you with your lost pet.
Third, it gives both you and your pet some serious tech cred on the streets which is always so vitally important.
On top of all that, this baby stores more than just your phone number. It can also store “contact address, phone numbers, vet contact information, medical and dietary needs and much more.” In other words, you can tell them that Fluffy likes to eat fresh field mice while being gently fanned.
It’s designed to be sturdy too. It’s both waterproof and shock resistant so if your pet is on a real adventure while being lost the unit will still work.
It’s available at Amazon for $18. That sounds pretty reasonable to us considering what it would cost to have the mark of the beast thing implanted.
SO, show Fido, and yes, even Fluffy, some USB love and order one today.
