Thin Your Wallet (in a good way)
Okay, seriously, how many membership/rewards/perks cards do you carry around with you in your wallet? If you’re like us you’ve got a ton of those things and that doesn’t even include the key chain variety. The truth is that we love saving money as much as the next dude but we stopped joining all those clubs just because (1) we didn’t want to carry another card around and (2) we never could find the stupid card when we needed it. A new iphone app, CardKing, fixes all of that.
CardKing basically stores all of your membership cards for you. Then, when you step up to the register, you fire up CardKing, pick the store from your list of accounts, and it produces the appropriate barcode in all of it’s glory right there on your iPhone screen. This barcode is scanable so it, in effect, is your new club card.
For iPhone 3GS users, the app will actually use the camera and scan your barcode right off your old school rewards card straight into your database. For others, you’ll have to key in the code by hand. Regardless, it’s a much easier way of keeping up with all that data.
The list of merchants included with the app is quite impressive. It even has a huge section of public libraries. (If you don’t see a merchant you want, you can request that it be added via their website.)
This app is great and for the price of FREE it can’t be beat. Check out the CardKing site here or download the app directly from iTunes here.

Great review and app seems cool. Some of the comments on the appstore are not good for the app but otherwise seems good if it works properly
