What Can You Do with $5? A Lot!
With the way the economy is going you might feel that five dollars isn’t much these days but five dollars can buy you tons of cool stuff if you just know where to look. Don’t believe it? Then check out the new site Fiverr.
Fiverr is a very interesting site where people post what they’d be willing to do for you for five dollars. The items available range from bizarre to very useful.
On the not-so-useful side, we have things like…
- People taking pictures of their “adorable” dogs with your photo or phrase nearby.
- An Irish dude that’s willing to teach you Irish slang.
- Someone who will dance to the song of your choice in a hot dog costume.
- You get the idea.
Thankfully, on the useful side of things, there’s some great stuff like…
- An artist that will create a vector logo for you.
- An actor that will record a professional voice-over MP3 for you.
- Musicians of all types that will write custom jingles or songs for you.
- Other artists that will create short videos for you.
- On and on it goes.
Now, you’ve got to do a little digging to find the useful stuff but it’s worth it. Also, you might find some very creative ideas that you could use as a service element at your church along the way. Seriously, some of this stuff is so random that it might be kind of fun to use in some way. You’ve really just got to check it out to see what I mean.
