Forget Wiki, You Need a Qwiki
If you’re a big user of Wikipedia, you’re going to especially love a new site that just went public. The site has been in private beta for a while but they’ve recently opened the doors to everyone and it’s spectacular.
What is it? Well, it’s called Qwiki and it searches sources like Wikipedia and YouTube (as well as others) and brings back an a powerful multimedia presentation about whatever subjects for which you are searching. Qwiki’s goal is to “forever improve the way people experience information” and I think they’ve done or at least they’re very close. It’s like getting a custom-made documentary every time you search.
Check out this video presentation from TechCrunch about Qwiki if you’re interested in seeing it’s public demonstration.
Better yet, head over to Qwiki and try it for yourself. That’s where the real fun begins!
Of course, the site is still in alpha so it’s not perfect but it’s still pretty amazing.

That’s amazing. What I don’t get is how commentary like that can happen on the fly. Or is it already prepared beforehand, like some giant encylopedia? But then how would it keep up with changes?
What I do know, is that I’d like one of those clocks to wake me in the morning :)
