An App that Helps You Pack
It seems that pastors tend to travel a lot. Whether it’s guest preaching at another church, going to a conference, or heading out on a mission trip, pastors always seem to have an upcoming trip on the calendar.
The odd thing is that packing for a trip is always a lot more difficult and complicated than you’d think. Of course, tossing stuff into a bag isn’t the hard part. Figuring out what you need to take and not forgetting anything is the real trick.
That’s why the brand new app Stow seems so intriguing. Check out this brief video.

As you can see, Stow helps you remember what to pack on a trip but, more importantly, it helps you determine what you need to take with you for that specific trip.
If you’re like me, whenever you go on a trip you start making a list of things to pack. Now, with Stow, I can put all that info into one place.
What’s really great about Stow is that it allows you to create templates. This means that you don’t start from scratch each time so each time you travel you can refine your lists. The app even comes with some predefined templates to help you get started.
Stow is also weather aware and helps you decide if you need to pack for rainy, hot, or cold conditions.
Once you’ve built your packing list, you can use the app or print out a hard copy for less tech savvy travelers. You can also email a spreadsheet version to others.
Stow costs $1.99 and is available via iTunes here.
